The Doing Business Group (DBG), in partnership with the UK Government and private sector organisations worldwide, has played a pivotal role in equipping businesses with essential trade knowledge. Over the years, DBG has written, designed, produced, launched, and distributed more than 2 million copies of over 200 country-specific trade reports, guides, and publications. Among these, the award-winning and internationally recognised ‘Doing Business Guide’ series stands out as a key resource, available in both print and digital formats. In addition to publishing, DBG has developed and hosted some of the internet’s most visited international trade websites and mobile apps, further expanding its reach and impact.
 
The ‘Doing Business Guides’ are comprehensive, multi-format trade publications designed to provide UK businesses with critical insights into overseas markets. These guides are available in three formats: a full-colour, glossy print brochure; a fully interactive and updateable multimedia website; and free downloadable smartphone and tablet apps. Each guide offers detailed content, including market overviews, business opportunities, and expert guidance on entering specific markets. They also feature listings and website links for British and foreign government support services, along with profiles of essential private sector service providers.
 
To maximise accessibility, the guides are distributed free of charge through the Doing Business Group, the Department for Business & Trade’s (DBT) and local and international chambers of commerce, global networks, which include over 200 distribution outlets. They are also showcased at global exhibitions, roadshows, conferences, and trade missions. Recognised as an invaluable resource, the guides receive daily requests from businesses and networks worldwide, helping companies navigate the complexities of exporting and international trade with confidence.
